We’re a small, congregational church, which means we all pitch in to nurture the community. Lots of folks teach our kids. Musicians in our congregation take turns leading on a Sunday. Our Council helps lead us.

The three people below are on staff, but they couldn’t do what they do without the rest of the community.

 
 
 

Pastor Eddy Hopkins

“The best part of my work is listening to what God is doing in people’s lives, and then helping them see it and walk into it.”

Eddy pastors the church. He preaches, visits, leads, and represents us in the community.

Eddy holds an MA in Theology from Regent College (Vancouver, BC) and is an ordained minister. He’s previously served as board chair for Outreach Fort Collins, worked on a farm with folks in recovery, and built and run a library. He’s married to Sandy and father to their two teenagers.

Sandy Hopkins is an artist and designer who pastors children at Peak. She’s pursuing a masters in Christianity and Visual Art from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. She’s married to Eddy and mother to their two boys.

Leslie Verner is a writer, dog sitter, and child wrangler. She has been serving as office manager at Peak since May of 2025.
